Region is a state-owned company engaged in the electricity sector, considering the importance of an employee to communicate. Errors in communication between agents can inhibit the work process of the employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region. As one example is in the call center, communication between superior and subordinates often miss communicate, which leads less complete reports from subordinates to superiors.
The purpose of this final report is to analyze the influence of top-down communication, bottom-up communication, horizontal communication and internal communication on the performance of employee of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region. Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature are used to collect data. In this study, is the method of analysis uses multiple linear regression. Questionnaires distributed to 65 respondents. Regression analysis is used to know the influence of top-down communication, bottom-up communication, and horizontal communication on the performance of employee . Data are processed using SPSS 16.0 Windows.
The result of this study is that the calculation of regression coefficients obtained Y = 16.256 + 0.524X1 + 0.503X2 + 0.784X3 that can affect the performance of employees, and the coefficient of determination is 0.781. It means that the employee's performance of 78,1% is affected by top-down communication, bottom-up communication, and horizontal communication. While the rest of 21.9% is influenced by other factors .
