Analysis OF Operational Risk Management Implementation Based on ISO 31000:2018 of Café Industry During Covid-19 Pandemic : Case study on cafes in Banyumanik District, Semarang city"
This study aims to analyze the implementation of operational risk management in the cafe industry during the COVID-19 pandemic based on ISO 31000:2018. Risk management is an essential aspect of business because the proper Implementation can help stakeholders identify, analyze, evaluate and determine risk treatment in an appropriate and structured manner. This qualitative research uses a case study method that examines 20 cafes in Banyumanik District, Semarang. Data collection was carried out using the checklist and interview methods to obtain information related to the operational risks experienced by the cafe industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, along with the level of risk and treatment. The data that has been collected were analyzed based on the ISO 31000:2018 risk management process, which includes risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, and risk treatment. Based on the analysis that has been done, there are four groups of operational risk: process operational risk, human resource operational risk, incidental operational risk, and business operational risk. The results of the risk analysis show that there are various levels of risk, including low, medium, high and extreme levels of risk. The risk treatment used is dominated by efforts to reduce and avoid risk.
