There are some regulation on implementation technical acceptance of marine cargo, explanation of implementation technical acceptance, policy of acceptance, implementation technical and determination marine cargo insurance rate.
The determination acceptance or decline of the insurance is based on personality of client, kind of cargo, insurance cost, sailing date, sailing route, shipping liner, packaging, commercial documents, clause and condition.
The data used in this final project were collected by observation, interviews and literatures studies. It is written descriptively.
The purpose of this final project is to find out procedure of implementation technical acceptance of marine cargo, the rule of the activity, the parties involved and determine the needed documents for the activity.
The result shows that the implementation of technical acceptance of marine cargo begin by filling SPPA(submission letter), risk survey, making document of risk survey, risk analyst, making document of underwriting info and evaluating the acceptance of branch, decision premium rate, decision limit approval authority, final decision making the police and start the insurance.
