Pelaksanaan penerimaan komoditi impor bahan baku pada PT Fumira G.I Sheets Colorcoat factory Semarang
Import is an activity in trade by buying or bringing in goods from abroad to be put in home country. The implementation of the import made by PT FUMIRA Semarang is done to accelerate production, starting from receiving imports contracts from the head office Jakarta. Import documents from the exporters are received by fax, informing the shipping line for the ship schedule, making approval of imports of goods, associated with EMKL for the processing of documents and payment of import duties income tax and value added tax to banks.
The purpose of this final project is to observe the activities of import commodity of raw material at PT FUMIRA Semarang and to identify the implementation of the import made by PT FUMIRA Semarang.
Methods used in this final project is descriptive, data that were used are primary data through interviews and observation, and secondary data through searching the internet and literature studies.
It is concluded that PT FUMIRA Semarang is a general importer importing goods to be processed into finished goods. The zinc is imported form Japan, but CRC is imported from Malaysia, China and Taiwan. Payment made by PT FUMIRA Semarang is for custom duties, added value tax and income tax in bank. PT FUMIRA Semarang entrust the management of import documents at PT EMKL Tirtasari Abadi Sejahtera and PT UPJT “Semarang Veem”.
