The primary purposes of the final assignment are to describe the Settlement Mechanism of Not Mastered Import Goods at Directorate General of Custom & Excise Tanjung Emas Semarang and to know the parties involved in the settlement process these items.
The data were collected by interview, observation, and literature studies. The report of the final assignment was written descriptively.
The solutions of not mastered import goods can be done completed by importer, destroyed, state-owned goods, and auctioned. Settlement of not mastered import goods by the importer can be done by importing the goods, forwarded to the bonded zone, and re-exported. The not mastered import goods that accumulate in place boarding customs make the traffic flow not smooth. The Directorate General of custom & excise should be more assertive against importers who do not immediately take care of the goods, so that traffic flow is not impeded customs.
