Global economic turmoil has caused a weakening of demand, which in turn has led to a decline in Indonesia's export performance, especially in the textile industry. This study aims to predict financial distress using the Zmijewski X-Score Model in Textile Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2022 and how strategies to deal with it. This study uses descriptive applied quantitative research design. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, so that two samples of textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period were obtained, namely PT Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (HDTX) and PT Asia Pacific Investama (MYTX). The results of the study based on the Zmijewski X-Score model show that during the five-year research period, PT Panasia Indo Resource Tbk (HDTX) and PT Asia Pacific Investama Tbk (MYTX) were in the Distress category with a value of Z > 0. This is due to the low Return on Asset (ROA) value and the high Debt Ratio (DR) value in both companies, so the strategy that can be taken is by increasing total assets and net income with effective and efficient management of all assets owned.
