The Ship agent shall prepare all document needed for meetings in the PPSA so the ship can immediately be served
The objectives of this final report are to find out about the mechanism of anchoring and berthing at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Semarang branch , the planning process of time and place for vessel berthing, and the cost calculation of anchoring and berthing services at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Semarang branch.
This final project uses interviews and literature reviews to collect the data, a uses descriptive method to write this final project.
The result of this final project is that PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Semarang branch has the mechanism of anchoring and berthing services that must be performed. The ship that just stays in the port and does not do any activities like loading or unloading, agency has to pay the anchoring cost. If the ship uses dock and doing activity ship agency has to pay anchoring and berthing cost. The formula used to calculate the cost of anchoring is GRT X RATE and berthing services is GRT X ETMAL X RATE.
