Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Pemesanan, Penjualan, Pembelian, dan Laporan Keuangan Berbasis Web pada Indo Meubel = Design and Development of a Web-Based Order, Sales, Purchasing, and Financial Statement Information System at Indo Meubel
Indo Meubel is a furniture company located in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. Indo Meubel's business process starts with receiving orders from customers, then purchasing semi-finished goods from craftsmen and additional materials needed for the production process, to delivering finished goods to customers. Indo Meubel's operational activities face various challenges, such as unrecorded transactions, resulting in the unavailability of reports including financial statements necessary for decision-making. The aim of this research is to design and develop an intuitive and user-friendly web-based information system that can manage transactions and financial statements, allowing users to save time, effort, and costs, as well as improve data accuracy and precision. The system development focuses on the company's needs, particularly the computerization of business processes. The system development method used is the Prototyping method, using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling built on a web-based platform. The result obtained is a website that can process company transactions in a computerized manner, thus generating automatic reports, including accurate financial statements, facilitating strategic decision-making. The reports generated include order reports, sales reports, purchase order reports, purchase reports, and financial statements such as the general ledger, income statement, statement of changes in equity, and statement of financial position.
