A leader of a company has to carry out a variety of jobs and responsibilities. With this situation, the leader will really need someone to do the tasks, that’s why he needs the service of a secretary who can assist him in running the company.
The purposes of this research are to know the implementation of secretarys tasks to help the work of the leader in Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum District Brebes.
The research began by observing how a secretary in carrying out his tasks to help the work of leaders, whether it is appropriate or not with that desired by the leadership and goals to be achieved by the company.
The research used descriptive research method with qualitative and quantitative form. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and literature studies.
The results of this discussion showed that the execution of secretarial tasks, including an intermediary or by means of leadership communication, leadership as a source of information, while the secretary tasks include routine tasks, creative tasks, and incidental tasks.
