Aktivitas sekretaris dalam membantu pimpinan pada PT Pos Indonesia (PESERO) Divisi Regional VI Jateng dan DIY
The Purposes of the final project were to describe the secretarial duties in assisting the managers of the PT POS INDONESIA (Persero) regional division VI Central Java and Yogyakarta, to determine the constraints faced by the secretary in carrying out her duties and how to overcome them. Data collection methods were interviews and literature studies. In this Final report the writing used the descriptive method, where the writing was more focused about the object of the research as well as describing and explaining the discussed objects.
The secretary of the manager at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division VI Central Java and Yogyakarta have activities of leadership as an intermediary or channel of communication and manager with the people who want to deal with the managers. Basically the routine tasks include reforming the archive (file), setting the schedule of events of the activities, of the manager carrying out the instructions setting up meetings and making minutes of meetings, setting up a service trip for the manager. The creative tasks are establishment of personality and self-development for the secretary, setting up the office furniture and equipment which are essential to the secretary. The Incidental tasks cover representing the manager in various receptions or meetings.
Based on the discussion of the duties and the activities of secretary in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division VI Central Java and Yogyakarta, it can be concluded that the Secretary has an important role in helping the managers to carry their duties as secretary to an alternative source of information and ideas for the manager.
