Pengaruh Kesejahteraan Karyawan dan Keterikatan Karyawan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta = The Influence Of Employee's Welfare's and Employee's Engagement's on Employee's Performance's at PLN (Persero) Main Distribution Unit of Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta
There's an indication of a turnover that's a source of poor performance. PLN can
pay attention to the welfare and engagement of employee that can support the
performance of employee. This research is expected to provide a solution in order
to solve problems to reduce employee turnover on PLN (Persero) UID Central Java
& DIY. This research aims to analyze the influence of employee welfare and
employee engagement in support of improving employee performance at PLN UID
Central Java & DIY. The data collection was done by distributing a questionnaire
to 103 employees by using the nonprobability sampling method and using a
purposive sample-taking technique based on the employee working time of more
than one year. The analytical technique used is a double linear regression analysis
to test two hypotheses to determine whether employee welfare and engagement have
a positive or negative influence on employee performance. Research has shown that
employee welfare has a positive influence on employee performance and employee
engagement has an influence on improving employee performances. Implication of
the results of this research, in improving the welfare and engagement of employee
PT PLN (Persero) UID Java Tengah & DIY has provided benefit and bonus fairly,
adequate facilities, vacation facilities and health insurance as well as giving an
opportunity to employees to be engaged in the work so that employee feel
appreciated so that in work they have the enthusiasm and pride to be part of the
company that is expected to improve performance. In addition, PT PLN (Persero)
UID Java Tengah & DIY has to keep doing performance assessment as an effort to
evaluate employee performance to maintain employee quality.
