This research is based on the problem of unstable dividend payment as seen from the fluctuating Dividend Payout ratio for food and staples retailing sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. This research aimed to examine the impact of the Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), and Firm Size on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). The sample in this research amounted to 4 companies for food and staples retailing sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with a sampling technique of purposive sampling. The result of the multiple linear regression analysis test shows that (1) Current Ratio, Return on Assets, and Firm Size partially affect the Dividend Payout Ratio, (2) Current Ratio, Return on Assets, and Firm size simultaneously affect the Dividend Payout Ratio.
