CV Andika Mustika is an iron and steel distribution company whose sales transactions were previously recorded using separate spreadsheets, resulting in repeated data entry, delayed information updates, recording errors, and difficulties in monitoring accounts receivable and sales reports. This study aims to design and develop a web-based accounting information system for the sales subsystem integrated with the purchasing, warehouse, inventory, and financial subsystems. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system development applied the prototype method, while the system design was model using the Unified Modelling Language (UML). The system was developed using the Laravel framework, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The resulting system supports customer and product data management, customer order recording, stock availability checking, Sales Order and invoice generation, delivery processing, sales return recording, payment and accounts receivable management, and sales and receivables report generation. The system also provides automatic transaction calculations, role-based access control, transaction validation, and centralized data storage. Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing showed that the main system functions operated according to the specified requirements and were accepted by the intended users. Therefore, the developed system can improve transaction-processing efficiency, reduce repeated data entry and recording errors, facilitate sales and accounts receivable monitoring, and provide more accurate and timely information.
