Mekanisme ekspor daging ular ke Hongkong pada UD Welang Sakti
Many kinds of fauna in Indonesia are mammals, reptile, and birds. The most available type of the reptile is snake. Many types of snakes can be consumed their meat, and it makes people can get benefit from it. UD Welang Sakti uses that situation by exporting its meat to Hongkong. To export the snake meat UD Welang Sakti must get permit license given by BKSDA (Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam) Central Java. The kinds of snakes that are prefered by Hongkong importer are Naja Sputatrix, Ptyas Mucosus, Cerberus Rhynchops, Acrochordus Javanicus, Ceolognathus Radiatus and Homalopsis Buccata. To be able to be exported the snakes meat must be cooked and frozen. The requirement to be able to export is determined by Dinas Karantina, which will publish Sanitary Certificate of Animal Product. To process the export document snake meat has different documentation from other exporting goods, because it has to go through Dinas Karantina before the legal institution permit the goods to be exported.
