The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of PT PERTAMINA ship agency before the ship arrives in the certain port to depart from that port, the parties concerned, documents, costs, barriers and ways to overcome the barriers associated with the activities of the agency.
The writing of The final project uses descriptive qualitative method which gives a precise, clear and appropriate facts on the ground. The types of data used were the qualitative data, quantitative data, primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods in the preparation of this final project were observation, interview and literature studies.
PT PERTAMINA ship agency activities are carried out in several processes, namely: before, the time when ship arrives in port, and when it leaves from the port. The related parties in those activities are Exporters, Importers, agency, Bank Mandiri, Tbk Semarang Youth Branch, Directorate General of Customs and Excise Jakarta, etc.. Documents related to this topic are the PIB, RKSP, SSPCP, SPPB, Custom Invoice, Bill of Lading (B/L), manifest and certificate of origin, the State Import Receipt, Certificate of Insurance, etc. Costs incurred from the activities of the agency are Free Pilotage, Towage Free, Tonnage Dues, Harbour Dues, etc.
