Pelayanan kegiatan impor barang pada kantor pengawasan dan pelayanan bea dan cukai
Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai Tanjung Emas Semarang is a party whose tasks are to oversee the imported goods into and out of the custom area, including illegal goods, and also to serve Freight Forwarder Companies (EMKL), importers, and exporters in conducting their jobs. The purposes of this final project are to observe the mechanism of importing goods and, simultaneously, to find out the customers’ perception of service quality on Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai Tanjung Emas Semarang. The methods of collecting data are interview and observation. The final project is written in descriptive method. Items including a high risk that the material / item explosives, liquid substances, materials / goods that are toxic, material / item destroyer. The result shows that : (1) if imported goods and or the importers are risky, they will be entered to red line mechanism. If they are not risky, they will use green line mechanism. (2) In term of inspection on imported goods and their documents, in green line system, imported commodities as well as their credentials do not need any inspection. While in red line mechanism, there are documents inspection, in addition to physical inspection for the imported goods.
