The activities of Public Relations can not be separated from the improvement of the quality of the company. The public relations is highly needed by an organization or company at this time. It is aimed to draw the sympathy of public. The image is an important intangible asset for company or organization. The good image can support the activity of a organization. The image of company is the accumulation of credibility given by someone who create public opinion.
The purpose of this project to find out the efforts, the result of working public relations, the obstruction of public relations at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). The method of collecting data of this final project are observation, interview and literature reviews.
The data showed that PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) the efforts of public relations to maintain company is image at PT Pos are to give the explanation to pers about a policy or problem, to expand the successful story, and to promote the product. The result of Public Relations working are direct and indirect, and the Obstruction of public relations are budget and human resourch.
