This is a description of the motivation for PT PLN (Persero) GIS Simpang Lima 150kV. Which the role of the supervisor as a motivator for employees. Employees are motivated by good will a good feedback as well on the job.
The purpose of this report is to determine the role and position of supervisor in improving motivation, knowing the purpose of motivation, to determine the barriers to motivate, to know the signs that employees are motivated and unmotivated, how to motivate employees, and maintain motivation in order not to decrease. It is closely related to the supervisor's role as a motivator for the employees of PT PLN (Persero) GIS Simpang Lima 150kV.
Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature. The final project written descriptively.
The results of this report is the supervisor of PT PLN (Persero) GIS Simpang Lima 150kV acts as a great motivator to put themselves in a flexible employee but still not authoritative and respected. In improving motivation, Supervisor prioritize communication and trust to employees. Motivation goal is to improve performance, and employee performance. Barriers experienced in the work is the lack of communication between subordinates and superiors, as well as the attitude of the employees is not stable. Employees are always motivated to work, it will get the job done easily and quickly, while the employees are not motivated, he will feel overwhelmed by the work itself. The attitude of the leadership towards employee motivation is very influential on the decline, wise leadership attitude needed to keep employees motivated
It is concluded that motivation is a key to get a success. In the world of work motivation is the key to improve and encourage employees to continue to excel. Work environment and co-workers are very supportive, will further increase the motivation to work.
