CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a social activity that serves to establish the relationship between firms and consumers. The purpose of CSR is as a sign of gratitude to the consumer through the activities of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
The research objective is the implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in support of community empowerment.
The method used is descriptive to aim at describing systematically facts or characteristics of certain populations or certain areas of factual and accurate. Methods of data collection are observation, interviews, and literature studies.
The Implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Division Noodle at Semarang Branch implement CSR activities uses the five pillars of Building Human Capital, Mantaining Social Cohesion, Strengthening Economic Value, Humanity and Protecting the Environment.
It is concluded that the CSR Program is very important for companies and consumers. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Semarang Branch Division Noodle implement CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in support of the community empowerment program by a pillar Stregthening Economic Value in the program of activities (PIR) for Trader of “Indomie Rebus”. While the four pillars are the responsibility of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The benefits for the company in support of the community empowerment program is to create a positive image of the company and maintain brand image and Benefits for the Community Assistance Recipients can be helped to meet the needs, Adding science or knowledge, can directly observe the activities of Journalism, easing the load of transportation costs PIR members (Merchants Indomi Rebus).
