Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Simpan Pinjam pada Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Kencana Mulya Semarang
This final project report is about developing a saving and loan information system at KSU Kencana Mulya Semarang. The development of information technology can’t be separated from the computer. Computer is selected because it provides easy storage of data with various relatively large amount but it can provide storage space and better security level. KSU Kencana Mulya Semarang still uses manual system in recording the data (members) and the savings and loan transactions.
The purposes of this final project are to develop the quick and accurate information system applications to minimize mistakes (human error) in recording data, saving and loan transaction management, and to facilitate the searching of member data and reporting the saving and loans transaction. The method used is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which consists of system planning, system analysis, system design, system implementation and system maintenance.
This information system consists three-main menu, there are master menu, transaction menu, and report menu. Master menu contains the entry of “Tanggung Renteng” group, member, and username. Transaction menu contains recording of savings and loans transaction. Report menu consists of “Tanggung Renteng” group report, member report, member savings and loan balances report, and savings and loan transaction report. It was found that, 1) this information system helps Saving and Loan Unit II at KSU Kencana Mulya Semarang to minimize the level of human error on recording and reporting of member data and savings and loan transaction, 2) entry duration is shorter, and 3) the report is automatically made by information system.
