The purpose of the study is to investigate the concept of the ship administrating systems and make the effective managing development model to be applied on the ship services division on PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas.
The qualitative and quantitative data taken from primary and secondary source, are collected using observation, interviews, and documentation method. The data are descriptively written.
It is concluded that the vessel service done by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Cabang Tanjung Emas needs approximately 5 days till the 2A note is handed to the Shipping Company/Agent. The service duration is considered ineffective because it takes too much time. ineffective because it takes too much time.
