Analisis Pengaruh Leverage Umur Perusahaan dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia
This research was conducted to analyze and to test the influence of leverage (debt to total assets ratio), firm age, and firm size on firm performances.
The population in this research were all manufacturing companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange which included various industry sectors during period of 2010 – 2012. Sampling technic used was purposive sampling. There were 25 companies which were used as sample. The instrument of analysis was multiple linear regressions. Classical assumption test had been carried out. T-Test statistic was employed to partially test each independent variable and for simultaneously F-Test statistic with significance level 10% was used.
The result of data analysis showed of multiple regression analysis that simultaneous influence of leverage, firm age, and firm size which was calculated used log. Natural of Total Assets toward earning changes was 6,5 %, partially leverage and firm size had significant positive on firm performances which was calculated using return on assets (ROA), meanwhile firm age had positive and not significant on firm performance. The multiple regressions of the result were:
ROA = -12,065 + 2,372LEV + 7,508E-005AGE + 1,294Ln_TA
Result of analysis showed that variable which had the biggest influence is firm size which was calculated using log. Natural of total assets. Based on classical assumption, the data which were used was normally distributed, there was no multicollinearity, and heterokedasticity.
