Improper office layout will result disturbed office activities. The objective of this report is to know the physical condition of the office and to find out. Whether the employees who stay in the office have been able to work comfortably at PT Wijaya Karya Beton Wilayah Penjualan IV in Semarang especially at Fiancial and Personnel Division.
The report is presented descriptively. It describes the office lay out of financial and personnel division. The qualitative data were collected by doing observation and interview and distributing questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively and some were presented in tables.
It was found that the office of financial and personnel division applied open office layout. It enable the employees communicate each other and employer can control easily the employees. The employees who stayed in the office had felt comfortable working in it. This is due to environmental factors, the number of pieces of furniture and office machines have been able to meet and support employees doing their jobs. doing their jobs. However, it needs to add some multifunctional printers to copy documents in Finance and Personnel Division, so the employees are not necessary to do that in different room. Over all, the condition of the office layout in Finance and Personnel Division is considered good and enables to support the employees performance.
