Pelayanan Penyandaran kapal dan Perencanaan Muat Peti Kemas Ekspor pada PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Cabang Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang
The purposes of this final project are to describe how the process of vessel berthing services, loading export container plan, handling of vessel arrival delay and handling of export container delay of stacking container in the container yard at Semarang Container Terminal Branch PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero).
This final project uses descriptive qualitative method. The data for this final project are qualitative, quantitative, and secondary data. The data were collected by doing observation, interview, and documentation.
The results of the study show there are four processes of vessel berthing services and loading export container plan. They are monthly schedule, booking slot, yard allocation, and daily meeting. The parties involved are assistant manager of corporate plan, shipping agent, tally supervisor, vessel operation supervisor, warehouse supervisor and yard operation, gantry crane supervisor, installation and head truck supervisor, lift truck and transtainer supervisor, equipment maintenance supervisor, foreman, TKBM, reefer officer, and security officer. The delay vessel will get second priority of vessel berthing service. Semarang Container Terminal Branch PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) has a policy of “open closing” to receive export container delay of stacking container in the container yard. So, the container can be loaded by its vessel with paying a cost of “open closing” and filling the requirements of “open closing”.
