Sistem Informasi Kearsipan pada PT. Taspen (persero) Kantor Cabang Utama Semarang (berbasis Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0)
This Final Project is intended to help archival process handling at PT. Taspen (Persero) Semarang Main Branch Office by making Archival Information System Program Based on Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 for recording of incoming and outgoing mail. Making this Archival Information System Program, it is used three methods. They are Observation Methods, Interviewing Methods, and Reading books and article related the issues.. The process of archival handling PT. Taspen (Persero) Semarang Main Branch Office still use manual system. It is done by recording mails in books. It is less effective and efficient because the mail couldn’t find easily and takes time. To resolve this problem, it is needed to create a system using Archival Information System Program Based on Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 Application. Because this program is very effective and efficient to record incoming and outgoing mails and the mail could be found easily. Furthermore, Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 has local data storage and Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 easy to use.
