Pengaruh Kompetensi Komunikasi dan Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Kudus
Kudus Post Office requires employees who are competent in their field. One of the competencies that should be possessed by the employee is communicative competence. Employee communication competence can affect the performance of employees in order to avoid misunderstandings (miss communication).
The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of communication competence on employees’ performance and to find out the influence of organizational culture on employees’ performance. This research will provide information to increase employees’ performance.
This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. Independent variables in this research are the communication competence, and organizational culture. The dependent variable in this research is the employees’ performance. Methods of data collections used in this research are observation, interview, distributing questionnaires to 36 employees’ at Kudus Post Office and literature review.
The formula of multiple linear regression used is Y = 1633 + 0.491x1 + 0.290x2. The result obtained shows that communication competence (X1) and organizational culture (X2) gives positive influence on employees’ performance at Kudus Post Office. Processed by SPSS program 16.0
From the results of the data analysis, using T test (partial) of individual variables showed tha organizational culture is more dominant than the variable communication competence has only a minor role in employee performance.
