Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pada PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Divisi Noodle Semarang
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a the commitment of a corporate to be responsible on the impact of industrialization activities upon social, economic, and environment dimension which is can be useful for society. CSR is one obligation that shall be completed by the corporate in accordance with the content of section 74 of Limited Company Law Number 40 Year 2007 and section 15, 17, 34 of Investment Law Number 25 Year 2007.
The aim of this final project is to explain about the implementation and the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility programs performed by Noodle Division PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, Semarang. This project is written descriptively and the data are collected by the observation, reading the literature and doing interviews with Public Relation of the Personnel Department at Noodle Division PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, Semarang.
The objects of the CSR programs are environment, consumer, society, and employees of the company. CSR programs are performed to fulfill the five pillars which are: building human capital, strengthening economic value, solidarity for humanity, outreaching to the community, and protecting the environment. There are a lot of social responsibility activities in reference to the pillar of building human capital which are in the forms of indomie jingle dare, jounalism training, Indofood Nugraha research, etc. The Social Responsibility activities in reference to the pilar of strengthening economic are bogasari cookies-making training, going back to the village in Idul Fitri feast with the sellers of boiled indomi noodle, outreaching of the community activitieis
such as: safari ramadhan, employees recreation, mass circumcision, and promo with awards, solidarity humanity activities such as: post of Indofood care and blood donation, and the protecting environment activities such as trees planting, floor tiling on public road, strengthening streep wall to avoid landslide and river dredging. CSR program doesnot only give the prosperity for society or help the government to overcome society problems, but it also gives many effects for the corporate such as: good image, good relation with the stakeholder, opportunity to obtain awards, increases the employee’s spirit and productivity, as the promotion medium and widens access of resource.
