Training and development mechanism of employee are provided by the section of Human Resources Training & Development of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Areas Office VI Jateng and DIY. The objectives of this final report are to know the mechanism of employee training and development and the development system of career employee at the section of Human Resources Training & Development of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Areas Office VI Jateng and DIY
This final project is written descriptively. The study used the primary, secondary, qualitative, and quantitative data which were collected by conducting interview and studying documents.
The study found that training and development mechanism conducted by the Human Resources Training & Development are to improve employee’s performance and employee’s career. Human Resources Training & Development training mechanism is implement a systematic and orderly. Training mechanism consists of Training Needs Analysis (TNA), determination of the type of training, the planning phase of training, conduct the training and evaluation of training in Areas Office VI Jateng and DIY. Human Resources Training & Development introduced a system of employee career development as a form of meritocracy or an employee performance improvement. Employee career development system is obtained by satisfying several requirements that have been specified. The requirements include achieving a minimum grade of 14 or a maximum predetermined, formation availibility, fulling the required competence, passing assessment / competency test and training classes of, and not in punishment. Constraints faced in the training mechanism is a matter of time planning training implementation. Not infrequently a conflict with the schedule of the training department of each employee. The way to overcome these obstacles is to set the times for the training so as not to interfere and conflict with employee work schedules.
