Marketing activity is one of the activities carried out by a company to market and sell product/goods products to consumers. Before the market, companies must understand who exactly will be the target of its products. Because the consumer with each other is different. Companies need to understand in order to do merketing properly.
This has encouraged the company to segment the market. Segmentations is a grouping of buyers in a market thet has a need and the same behavior. Importance of segmentation to the company caused partly because segmentation allows companies more focused in allocating resoursces.
PT Karya Zirang Utama is one Daihatsu car dealers in Central java. In marketing the product, it must be through the process of market segmentation. Segmenting the market will reach the target if the process is carried out effectively segmentation. Segmentation can be done as it would relate to a lot of things. One of them relates to the level of sales at a company.
This study aimed to measures the effectveness of market segmentation for features cars Daihatsu Sirion. The method used is descriptive method of analysis, which aims to analyze the effectiveness of market segmentation Daihatsu Sirion, using the salesperson’s response so as to provide an overview of the facts. Variables studied the effectiveness of market segmentation are measurability, accesibility, subtantiality, actionability. Data from 40 questionnaires were distributed to the sales force of PT. Karya Zirang Utama.
