Penerapan Strategi Saluran Distribusi Produk Pelumas pada PT Pertamina (Persero) Sales Region IV Jateng & DIY
The purposes of this Final Project were to know the strategy application of distribution channels, knowing the basic considerations of the use of the strategy application of distribution channel, and knowing the parties involved in the distribution channel.
This descriptive study describe the application strategy of distribution channel in PT Pertamina (Persero) Sales Region IV Jateng & DIY, and the obstacles in distribution and the alternative solution. The data were collected by doing interview and literature study.
From the result of interviewing Sales Administration and Financial Executive it was found that the company uses indirect distribution channel. The indirect channel uses some intermediaries such as agent, retailer, and indutrial. The basic of considerations of the use of the strategy application of distribution channel were to make easy monitoring an agent, to make easy product marketing, and it can fulfill consumer’s needs. The factors affecting the selection distribution channel were the consideration of product, consideration of company, consideration of market and consideration of intermediaries.
