Analisis Peramalan Penjualan Sepeda Motor Yamaha pada Dealer Yamaha Mataram Sakti Semarang
One of the problems in a company is a matter of product inventory, which often occurs by accumulation or deficiency. It will cause disruption of the company's activities primarily related to product sales. Besides that the current transportation needs are increasing with the changing times. It happens because the use of transportation will allow us to carry out everyday activities such as going to school, to work, and others will become more effective and efficient.
The purpose of this study is to determine the sales estimation Yamaha motorcycle in the Yamaha Mataram Sakti Semarang Dealer in 2013 and 2014, to determine the average deviation from the sales estimation, to compare which method is more appropriate to use, between Trend Least Square method and Decomposition method, and to help companies solve the problem by using the right sales estimation method, so the activities of the company will be more effective and efficient.
Sales estimation method used is the trend least square method and decomposition method, the calculation of sales estimation using trend least square method obtained standard deviation smaller than decompositon method. It is recommended that the company should use trend least square method to estimate sales volume in the future.
This research finds that sales Yamaha motor cycle at Yamaha Mataram Sakti Semarang Dealer are 83-86 unit every month during 2013 to 2014
