Studi Tentang Koordinasi Setting Peralatan Tripping CB pada Sisi Sekunder Transformator 150/20 kv 60 MVA dan Penyulang Randu Garut 10
Power transformer is one of the main equipment in electrical energy distribution system from power plant to customers. In operation, power transformer works one side connected to HVOL/ EHVOLand the other side is connected to MVOL or medium voltage feeder. However, in reality from the secondary side of transformer to the feeder usually has disturbances, such as short sircuit. The disturbances that occurred when the transformer operates will harm the company and inhibits the electrical energy distribution continuity. Therefore, it needs accuracy of the protection equipment setting in order to make distribution system to be reliable and the electrical distribution system always maintained. Protection equipment on the secondary transformer to the feeder such as overcurrent relay (OCR) and ground fault relay (GFR). Relay serves to detect the fault current and sends command to the CB to be open so the feeder that contain fault will be isolated. In this final project will be discussed about the comparison between the protection secondary setting based on the calculation and the protection setting installed when there is interference on the secondary side of Trafo II Randu Garut which made the transformer break down. Inaccuracy setting caused OCR on secondary side of transformer works faster than GFR and it caused malcoordination protection. So, it needs to be resetted based on the calculation result.
