Kegiatan CSR PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Siswa SMSK Otomotif Kabupaten Karawang Melalui Program Pelatihan Dasar Otomotif Manufaktur
A competence is an underlying characteristic of an individual that is causally related tocriterion-referenced effective and/or superior performance in a job or situation. So, a competence must be improved and increased by training program. Increasing the competence of community whose the human resources are less treatedis social responsibility of the company, especially on the education sector. In the state-owned company’s CSR program is known by the name of Program Pelatihan Dasar Automotive Manufaktur.
This final project is aimed to know the implementation of the Automotive Fundamental Training Program by PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. The other purpose is to know the results of the training, which is increase the competence of training participants.
The data used in the final project are the primary and secondary data. The method used to obtain the data in the preparation of this final project is observation, questionnaire and literature study conducted in January-March 2014 at PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. The direct observation is conducted at the Toyota Institute Indonesia Division. The writing method in this final project is a descriptive analysis research method.
The result of this study isthe Automotive Fundamental Training Program by PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia have been increased the competence of participants training (Vocational High School Student) in Karawang as realization implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility.
