Analisis Pengaruh Promosi Jabatan dan pelatihan Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan Pada PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa tengah dan DI Yogyakarta
The research was carried out at PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and D. I. Yogyakarta. This study deals with job promotion and training as an independent variable and employee’s motivation as dependent variable. The purpose of the research is to determine the impact of job promotion and training to employee’s motivation at PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and D. I. Yogyakarta.
The methods of data collection used in research were observation, literature study, interview and questionnaires. The samples were the employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and D. I. Yogyakarta amounted to 100 respondents using purposive sampling method. The analysis includes multiple linear regression analysis after validity test, reliability test and the classical assumption test.
The results of this research showed that the regression equation was
Y = 1. 364 + 0. 208X1 + 0. 635X2 + e. Based on the t-test and the calculation of linear regression analysis it can be seen that job promotion has positive and significant impact on employee’s motivation and training has positive and significant impact on employee’s motivation.
The recommendation in this study are PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Central Java and D. I. Yogyakarta should append training variation and apply a fair system in job promotion.
