Pelaksanaan Promotional Mix Pasca Kenaikan Harga Pada PT Suara Merdeka Press Semarang
PT Suara Merdeka is a company engaged in sector of newspaper. The management of PT Suara Merdeka has many strategies for getting profit from their business. one of those strategies is promotional mix. It has done in this company but because of price increase, they experiencing sales decline. So that, they have to improve their promotional mix with expectation in order to get sales increase.
The purpose of this final project is to know implementation of promotional mix before price increase and after price increase in PT Suara Merdeka Press Semarang.
Data collection Method in this final project is observation, interview and literature study. The observation is done during a week. Subsequently, the interview is done with marketing manager assistant of PT Suara Merdeka Press Semarang. Whereas, the literature study is done with looked for references in library.
The result of this final project shows that PT Suara Merdeka Press Semarang has done improvement for their promotional mix. The promotional mix before price increase there are advertising, personal selling and publicity. And then for the after price increase, the promotional mix are advertising, personal selling, direct marketing and sales promotion. promotional mix are advertising, personal selling, direct marketing and sales promotion.
