Archive is a collection of systematically stored document. The purpose of this study was to know the active records management and relation to employee job’s satisfaction demanded by service areas.
This project was written by using descriptive method. The data was obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Literature study done by reading the information from the books of the library, the information from the company and internet sites related to the subject.
The management on inactive record which was kept by numeric dosir has been going well, since there have been no problems on this area and all management archive was done according to the procedures. The study of satisfaction toward the service on the area with importance performance analysis using five satisfaction variables showed that the employee of service area were very satisfied. While the reliability of variables from the unit archive dynamic inactive got 102.77%, as the result, four other variables showed that they also felt satisfied with the performance on tangible at 93.83% , responsiveness 94.58%, assurance 91.88%, empathy 92.27%. The overall, the results of the study showed that the management of inactive records has been going well and the employees of service area were satisfied with the performance of which has been given.
