This research was conducted in PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch Office. The purposes of this research WERE to identify: 1) type of motor vehicle insurance claims received by PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch Office, 2) Main tasks and functions of the parties involved in the settlement of motor vehicle insurance claim PT Asuransi Motor Vehicle Branch Office Semarang, 3) The procedure of handling motor insurance claims in PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch Office, and 4) The documents required in handling motor insurance claims in PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch Office.
This report was written descriptively, to explain the policy of motor vehicle insurance claims handling in PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia the Semarang branch office with a case study of a four-wheeled motor vehicle accident.
The results of this study indicated that motor vehicle insurance claims handling in PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang branch office would be carried out when the claims were in the general condition and the condition of the claim secured by the policy. Because the claims were secured by the policy conditions, such claims could be accepted, and, then, could be carried out by PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia. The parties involved in the handling of this claims were the technique in PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch Office. The Procedures for the handling and settlement of motor vehicle insurance claims were applied in the policy provision Jasindo OTO .
