Sistem perekrutan karyawan pada PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operational IV Semarang
This final project aims at finding out the recruitment system applied by the railway COMPANY at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area IV of Semarang. In addition, this final report are also aimed to know the constraints upon the following recruitment and how to solve them.
The final project writing used descriptive method. Data collection techniques used direct observation methods in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), interviewed with the HR unit and General employees, and did literature study in order to obtain additional information.
The result of the discussion indicated that recruitment in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Region IV Semarang used online-based system (full online system). Operational Region IV would only hold a recruitment of employees after an express mail Center Board of Directors decisions about procurement and recruitment was issued. The company applied 4 stages of selection process in the system of recruitment of employees. The stages of selection were administrative HR selection, selection interview tests, selection on psychological test, and the selection of the final health tests. The announcement of the candidates who were qualifiedfrom each stage of selection would be informed through the official website of the company. The qualified candidatesin each stage of selection tests were required to sign a contract for the job. After that the candidates hadbeen declared as a Clerk before being permanent company staff.
