Persepsi karyawan terhadap gaya kepemimpinan pada PT Jasa Marga (PERSERO) TBK cabang Semarang
This study is about the leadership style applied by PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang. The main purpose of this research are to know the leadership style applied by PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang and the leadership style that the employees of PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang want. The methods of collecting data are observation, questionaire, and literature studies. The questionaire are distributed to 70 employees at PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang. The analysis methods is frequencies distribution.
The result of the research showed the majority of respondents did not agree with otocratic style. They thought that the pressure given from this leadership style was to high which make the employees were not comfortable to work. Majority of respondents agreed with Participative Leadership style because of the efectiveness of this style to motivate the employees to work harder. Another leadership style which was agreed by majority of respondents was free control style.
According to the research, It could be concluded that participation style was the style used by PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang and it was efective to make the employees feel comfortable to work. Free control style also used by PT Jasa Marga (persero) Tbk Cabang Semarang.
