Analisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada direktorat umum PDAM Tirta Moedal Kota Semarang
The purpose of this final report is to know the influence of leadership style and working motivation to employees’ performance at Direktorat Umum PDAM Tirta Moedal Kota Semarang. Interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies are the instruments to use to collect data. Questionnaires are distributed to 45 employees as respondents.
The analysis data use the method of multiple linear regression coefficient analysis. Regression analysis is used to determine the influence of leadership style and working motivation to employees’ performance. Data are processed using SPSS 16.00.
The result of this study is that the calculation of regression coefficients obtained Y = 2.711 + 0.021X1 + 0.714X2. It means that result of regression gives positive influence on employees’ performance, and the influence of working motivation on employees’ performance is greater than the leadership style. The coefficient of determination is 0.341. It means that the employees’ performance of 34.1% is influenced by leadership style and working motivation. While the rest of 65.9% is influenced by other factors.
