THE INFLUENCE OF WORKING MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION AT PT JAYA ARNIKON SEMARANG
This research was conducted at PT Jaya Arnikon Semarang, a company engaged in the construction field which always gives satisfaction to the stakeholders. So it is important for company to motivate employees to work to achieve job satisfaction so that employees can improve their performance.
The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of work motivation on employee job satisfaction, and how much that influence. The research sample were 30 employees of PT Jaya Arnikon Semarang as respondents. The independent variable of this research was working motivation and the dependent variable was job satisfaction of employees.
The method of analysis in this research used validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, t test, and the coefficient of determination. And the method of collecting data are questionnaire and literature study.
The result of the regression analysis showed that at the regression equation Y = 1,407 + 0,564 X, which meant that working motivation gave positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The results obtained from testing the hypothesis t-test > t - table (5,195 > 1,701), so we could conclude that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. From the results showed the value of the coefficient of determination was 0,473, indicating that the motivation to work had the effect of 47,3% on job satisfaction and the rest is influenced by other factors
which were not examined.
