Penerapan kegiatan CSR (corporate social responsibility) pada PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Tengah & D.I Yogyakarta dalam mendukung program pemberdayaan masyarakat
CSR (Corporate Social resposibility) is an obligation and corporate responsibility towards society and the environment to improve the quality of life and social environment. The purpose of CSR is to improve and strengthen relationship between company and society. Moreover CSR can be an instrument to develop society’s economic condition. It is not only to know the implementation of activities and activity contribution to the development of company but also benefits of CSR for the community. Data collection method used are observation, interviews and literature review. Implementation of CSR in PLN use three pillars, community services, community relations and community empowerment. The report is descriptively written. It is concluded that the CSR programs have been applied in accordance with the limited liability company law and the practices have been done in accordance with the regulation of company. The benefit for company development is to establish a positive image of company and society also keep the company's assets .
