Pengaruh Komunikasi Internal Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Pegawai Pada Badan Kesatuan Bangsa, Politik dan Perlindungan Masyarakat Propinsi Jawa Tengah
Badan Kesatuan Bangsa, Politik dan Perlindungan Masyarakat Central Java Province is the government institution that engaged in Social, Politic and Public Protection. Internal communication is very important to support the employees, especially to increase employees motivation. But, sometimes miss communication in the organization can be a problem in internal organization. Besides, sometimes employees feel less motivated to work optimally.
The objective of this final report is to find out the influence of top-down communication, bottom-up communication and horizontal communication on the working motivation of employees at Badan Kesatuan Bangsa, Politik dan Perlindungan Masyarakat Central Java Province. Questionnaires and literature study are used to collect data.
This study method uses multiple linier regression coefficient analysis. Questionnaires were distributed to 50 employees as respondents. Regression analysis was used to determine the influence of top-down communication, bottom-up communication and horizontal communication on working motivation. Data are processed using SPSS 18.
The calculation of regression coefficient shows that Y = 0,901 + 0,219X1
+ 0,211X2 + 0,227X3. It means that result of regression gives a positive influence on the working motivation of employee and the coefficient of determination is 0,366. It means that 36,6% employees performance is influenced by internal communication. While the rest of 63,4% is influenced by other factors.
To improve internal communication in order to support the employees motivation, the employees must improve sharing information among co-workers that is expected to improve relationships with other colleagues and gave a positive invitation to improve coordination of tasks.
