Perancangan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis aplikasi visual foxpro 9.0 pada suzuki bedagan Semarang
Information system is evolved along with the changing times due to necessity in allowing information to reach around the world in real time. Suzuki Bedagan Semarang is one of Authorized Dealer Suzuki Motors. Even though Suzuki Bedagan is a Dealer, it still uses manual system legacy, such as sales report and recording sales receipt. Certainly this situation might cause inefficiently and take time to record or process data. In auddition, the manual system there is still a lot of human error.
The purpose of this Final Report is to design Sales Information system at Suzuki Bedagan Semarang. By using the system, the staff can work efficiently. It helps to process sales data.
The method used in Final Project is the system Development life cycle (SDLC). This method consists of five steps, they are system planning, system analysis, system design, system implementation and system maintenance.
The result shows that the information system application can be recommended with the Suzuki Bedagan Semarang in processing sales data. Using visual foxpro for easier data processing, data retrieval speed back and improve employee performance. And also can reduce the risk of human error when processing data.
