THE ROLE OF CHANGE AGENT AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CORPORATE CULTURE
AT PT PELINDO III (PERSERO) BRANCH TANJUNG EMAS SEMARANG
This research is motivated about the importance of the implementation of the corporate culture in a company to achieve their vision and mission.corporate culture can be behaviors, activities, decisions, etc. Their vision and mission are achieved to their progresses.
The purpose of this researchis to determine the role of change agent and management support for the implementation of the corporate culture at PT Pelindo III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang. Researcher uncovers problems about what the role of change agent and how to support the management are, what are the problems of corporate culture and how the solution of the problems of corporate culture in PT Pelindo III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang are.
Methods of collecting data are interview, observation, study groups and literature review. Researcher uses interviews, observation and study group to three change champions as an informant of Human Resources and General, Commercial and Financial. While the literature review, the researcher study the change agent assessments, corporate culture handbook and documents of company culture others. Regarding the method of writing, this research include descriptive writing.
The results of this research are the role of change agent, change champion and champion team is good and needs to be improved further; seniority issues, subjectivity assessment still exist and need to be solved with a personal approach and assessment methods multilater, awareness problems in implementation of corporate culture should also be enhanced through the corporate programs cultures.
