Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Can Body Coca-Cola 250 ML Dengan Metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) Pada PT Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Central Java
Every company should control their inventory in order to achieve cost efficiencies. It will be achieved if the company could determine and ensure the availability of supplies of raw materials. PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Central Java is one of the manufacture companies that concern to the inventory management. The aim of this study is to compare the policy in the inventory control on raw materials in the company with EOQ method. Method of collecting data was observation, interview and library studies, and this final project is written descriptively. The result shows that the purchasing of can body coca-cola 250 ml using the company policy was higher than using EOQ method. Besides, the total inventory cost with EOQ method is smaller than without the EOQ. In making the purchasing of raw materials, PT Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Central Java has to use EOQ method to avoid deficiency and excess in the supply of raw materials. It is concluded that EOQ method is more efficient than using the company policy.
