The Influence of Working Motivation and Working Environment to Employees Performance in Services Section of PT TASPEN (Persero) Kantor Cabang Utama Semarang
This research aimed to know factors which influence employees performance in services section of PT TASPEN (Persero) KCU Semarang. Those factors were working motivation and working environment. Employees who have high motivation and good environment will give possitive effect to employees performance. Therefore organization purpose can be reached. Data collection is conducted by distributing the questionnaire to respondents of 33 employees, that was censuss technique.
The result is obtained by regression analysis equation Y = 4,671 + 0,563 + 0,284 . From the regression known that variables of working motivationand working environment have a positive and significant effect to employees performance in service section. Among working motivation and working enviroment, working motivation is dominant variable having effect to
performance. Then, t value of working motivation is 2,133 (bigger than 2,040) and signification value is 0,041 (less than 0,05), it means that working motivation have a positive and significant effect to employees performance in services section partially. Similar to working motivation, working environment also have a positive and significant effect to employees performance in services section partially with t value about 2,408 and signification value is 0,022. F value is 28,345 (bigger than 2,53) and signification value is 0,000 (less than 0,05), it means that working motivation and working environment have a positive and significant effect to employees performance in service section simultaneously. The coefficient determination (adjusted ) is 0,0631, in this case its means that the performance can be explained by working motivation and working environment of 63,1%, while 36,9% is explained by other variables not examined in this research.
