Employee’s Perception toward Leadership and Work Environment at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Semarang Regional Office
The purpose of the study is to find out employee’s perception toward leadership and work environment at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Semarang Regional Office.
This research was carried out using questionnairs and carried out by 45 employees with the position of executive, staff and supervisors. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistic method, using SPSS version 20. Sampling technique used purposive sampling and data test technique was included validity test and reliability test with cronbach.
The research result shows that the employee had passible perception for leadership and positive perception for work environment. The score of employee’s perception of leadership was 2,931 percents whereas the employees had positive perception for work environment based on the score of employee’s perception which was higher than 3,152 percents.
The result can be concluded that the employee were not very satisfied with the leadership but they were satisfied with the work environment in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Semarang Regional Office. It is recommended that the leadership in BRI Semarang Regional Office can be further improved such as the consultative function of leadership, delegation and control so that the employee can work better and fulfill the targets.
