Public perception of the program assisted by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution In Central Java & Yogyakarta in Semarang Regency Area.
Public perception is very important for company because the company could not develop without the support of surrounding communities. PT PLN (Persero) Distribution In Central Java & Yogyakarta concerned with the surrounding community through a program CSR.
The study is conducted to determine the public perception of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution In Central Java & Yogyakarta toward Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Semarang Regency Area. The methods of collecting the data are questionnaire and literature study.
Basic of the discussion, the public perception of community relation program the average score of 37,43, community services program average score of 39,16, and community empowering program in the grade 39,94.
The result of study which is presented in frequency tables show that the public perception is good. Respondent agreed and there’s even a very agreed with all indicators of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a Community Relation, Community Services, and Community Empowering of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution In Central Java & Yogyakarta.
As community relation program has an average score lower than most other indikator is 37,43. It is recommended PT PLN (Persero) Distribution In Central Java & Yogyakarta to further enhance the community relation by increase information and consulting the public for the knowledge society as well as the development agreement reached in society that can affect a good relationship with the community.
