THE INFLUENCE OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TOWARD PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF PT PLN (PERSERO) DISTRIBUTION MANAGER AREA CENTRAL JAVA AND YOGYAKARTA
The purpose of the study was to explain the influence of occupational safety and health toward performance of employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Manager Area Central Java and Yogyakarta.
The method for doing the research was regression analysis. The method to do the research was multiple linear regression analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS Version 20. The census were 70 respondents. Methods of data collection were questionnaires and literature review.
The result of this study was that the calculation of regression coefficients obtained Y= 1,396 + 0,107X1 + 0,125X2 - 0,077X3 + 0,130X4 + 0,150X5 + 0,537X6. It meant that the result of regression gave positive influence on commitment top management toward K3, adjustment and procedure K3, worker communication, worker competence, work environment, and worker involvement in K3 toward performance of employees of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Manager Area Central Java and Yogyakarta. Coefficient determination was 0,847, it meant that 84,7% of all variable could be explained by performance of employees. Meanwhile, the rest of the 15,3% was influenced by other variables which were not included in this study. It is recommended that the PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Manager Area Central Java and Yogyakarta should improve their attention about Occupational Safety and Health of employees especially commitment top management toward K3 and worker communication, so that the employees feel more comfort and safety.
